A lights tour, stop by stop
Pick the date
The big displays run from late November into early January, and holiday weekends are the first to fill.
Plan three or four stops
Mix drive-by streets with walk-through shows, and send the list when you book so the route has an order.
Pickup at home
Everyone boards at your door, so nobody scrapes a windshield or hunts for parking downtown.
Walk, then ride
Walk through ZooLights or the market while your chauffeur waits, then warm up on the drive to the next stop.
Home again
The tour ends where it began, often with the youngest riders asleep on the way back.
Nights worth the drive

Between the stops
LED ceiling lights, leather benches and room for 14: the drive becomes part of the tour.

Dinner downtown first
Start with dinner at a hotel restaurant, then head up Michigan Avenue to see the trees.

A smaller family
An Escalade seats 6, enough for parents, grandparents and kids on a short loop.

Christmas Lights Limo Tour
Christmas lights limo tour stops around Chicago
The season opens with the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, November 21 this year, when a parade down Michigan Avenue lights the trees and fireworks follow over the river. ZooLights fills Lincoln Park Zoo with displays from late November into early January, and the Christkindlmarket sets up its German-style market at Daley Plaza, with a second one at Gallagher Way beside Wrigley Field.
Outside the city, Illumination at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle paints its trees with light, and Holiday Magic at Brookfield Zoo bills itself as the longest-running lights festival in Chicagoland. Booked by the hour, with a 2-hour minimum and unlimited stops in our service area, one tour can pair a city stop with a suburban one; buy any timed tickets before the date.

Christmas Lights Limo Tour: questions
Still deciding? Call (331) 356-3856 any hour, or start a booking to see your options.
When do the Chicago holiday light displays run?
Most open in mid to late November and run into the first days of January. ZooLights and Illumination publish new dates each season, and the market at Daley Plaza has closed on Christmas Eve in recent years.
Do we need tickets for the light shows?
For some. ZooLights, Illumination and Holiday Magic sell tickets by date, while the Magnificent Mile and the Christkindlmarket are free to walk. Buy any tickets first, then book the tour around their times.
How long should a lights tour be?
It depends on the stops. Allow time to walk each show plus the drive between them; the minimum booking is 2 hours, and a suburban show adds time to the evening.
Can the tour include our own neighborhood?
Yes. Add any street or address in our service area as a stop, including a neighbor's display or a suburb's downtown tree.
Can a company book a holiday lights tour?
Yes. The limo trolley and the party buses suit office outings, and companies that book with us regularly can set up a corporate account.
